Explore your colour's potential with a mixing grid. With just 8 colours you can create 64 mixes. This not only saves $$$ but also allows you to find the best colour to use in your paintings.
A mixing chart is also a low effort activity, if you want to paint without any stress or hard to follow sketches.
You will need:
- a printer
- a PDF Reader such as Foxit Reader or Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you use Microsoft Windows, there are many options on the Windows Store. Click on the names to download. Both are free to use.
HOW TO PRINT
- Use watercolour paper (300 gsm / 140 lb or 200 gsm depending on your printer's capabilities)
- You can trace this format if you don't have a printer
- For inkjet printers: Print using Pigment ink (Canon calls it PGBK) which is smudge resistant, or use waterproof ink (such as Epson Durabrite)
- For laser printers: check whether your printer accepts thicker paper like watercolor paper. If you use textured paper, the toner might not print consistently. All printers are different, please test to see what is best for yours.
